Our Story — From One Dog, With Love 

Doggie Bag Biscuits™ began with one simple hope — to help my sweet boy, Gabe.

Gabe struggled with severe food allergies, and like any dog mom, I wanted to find something I could feel good about giving him.

What I found instead was myself in the kitchen.

I researched ingredients, experimented with recipes, baked, adjusted, and baked some more. There was no plan to open a dog bakery. There wasn't a business idea behind it.

There was simply a dog I loved very much who needed something different.

Eventually, all that work became our own specialty, custom-created, nutritional, allergy-aware canine cookie recipe, created especially for Gabe.

And he loved his cookies.

Apparently, he wasn't going to be the only one. 😂🐾

Along the way, I made Gabe a promise: one day, I would share his cookies with other dogs.

In 2014, that promise became Doggie Bag Biscuits™.

Since then, our recipe has been reviewed and approved by our local veterinarian/dog nutritionist, who even shared gifted D.B.B. cookies with some of her canine clients.

But through all the years, all the cookies, all the designs, and all the wonderful dogs we've had the privilege of baking for, the heart of this little bakery hasn't changed.

It still comes back to Gabe.

I never set out to build a big dog treat company, and I'm not here chasing umpteen sales. I simply want to continue doing what I promised Gabe I would do — share something created especially for him with other dogs and the people who love them.

Your dogs aren't numbers or orders passing through our kitchen. On the other side of every box is somebody's baby. We know that feeling because that's exactly how this story began.

We will always strive to make D.B.B. better, while never forgetting the little dog who started it all.
