Who says delicious goodness can't grow on trees? Well, bananas technically grow on giant herbs, but we won't tell the apples! 🤭

Apples bring naturally occurring fiber, vitamin C, and beneficial plant compounds called polyphenols. Their fiber includes pectin, a type of soluble fiber, making apples a lovely addition to our thoughtfully selected ingredients.

Bananas are little nutritional treasures, naturally containing potassium, vitamin B6, and fiber. Potassium plays an important role in normal muscle and nerve function, while vitamin B6 is involved in the body's everyday metabolism.

Natural Peanut Butter is more than just a flavor dogs adore! It naturally provides plant-based protein, heart-healthy unsaturated fats, vitamin E, magnesium, and niacin (vitamin B3). These nutrients play important roles in everyday bodily functions, from normal muscle activity to cellular health. We use natural peanut butter made without xylitol, an ingredient that is extremely toxic to dogs.

Organic Chia Seeds may be tiny, but they're nutritional little powerhouses! Naturally rich in dietary fiber, plant-based omega-3 fatty acids (ALA), protein, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, these mighty seeds have plenty to offer. They also contain naturally occurring antioxidants, making them an especially interesting addition to our thoughtfully selected ingredients.

Thyme may be a tiny herb, but it's filled with fascinating natural plant compounds! It contains antioxidants, including flavonoids and phenolic compounds, along with aromatic components such as thymol. These naturally occurring substances are part of what makes thyme such an interesting botanical ingredient.

Rosemary is another aromatic little treasure! This fragrant herb naturally contains antioxidant compounds, including rosmarinic acid and carnosic acid. These plant compounds have been widely studied for their antioxidant properties, making rosemary a particularly fascinating addition to our ingredient collection.

Blackstrap Molasses, Coconut-Derived Glycerin & Coconut Oil — Nature's Little Treasures! 🥥🐾

Three unique ingredients, each bringing something special to our canine cookie jar! From naturally occurring minerals to plant-derived goodness, there's more to these little additions than meets the eye!

Blackstrap Molasses — Dark, rich, and full of character! Unlike ordinary refined sugar, blackstrap molasses retains naturally occurring minerals, including iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. These minerals play important roles in normal bodily functions, including muscle activity and maintaining healthy bones. Although blackstrap molasses contains natural sugars, we use just a small, carefully measured amount in our recipe.

Coconut-Derived Glycerin — A little tropical ingenuity! This plant-derived ingredient is commonly used in foods and treats to help retain moisture and maintain freshness. While it isn't a significant source of vitamins or minerals, food-grade vegetable glycerin has a useful place in thoughtfully prepared canine treats.

Coconut Oil — A tropical favorite with a little nutritional goodness! Coconut oil provides dietary fats, primarily saturated fats, including medium-chain fatty acids such as lauric acid. Fats are an important source of energy in a dog's diet and play a role in normal cellular functions. Because coconut oil is calorie-dense, a little goes a long way!

Two wonderful ingredients with their own special qualities! One brings the warm goodness of nature's spices, while the other is a familiar antioxidant with more than one reason to shine!

Ceylon Cinnamon — Often called true cinnamon, this fragrant spice is a little treasure from nature! Naturally containing polyphenols and other antioxidant plant compounds, Ceylon cinnamon is celebrated for its distinctive aroma and botanical richness. It also contains considerably less coumarin than common Cassia cinnamon, making it our preferred variety for adding a gentle touch of warm, aromatic goodness to our canine cookies.

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) — A little vitamin with a wonderful purpose! Vitamin C is a well-known antioxidant involved in normal cellular functions, collagen formation, and the body's natural antioxidant processes. Although dogs naturally produce their own Vitamin C, this familiar nutrient has some fascinating qualities! We use just a tiny, carefully measured amount in our recipe, where it also helps protect against oxidation, contributing to the quality and freshness of our specialty canine cookies.

Natural Plant-Based Sugar-Free Vanilla Dog Icing — Specially formulated for dogs, our icing is a wonderful alternative to traditional sugar-filled frostings, including many yogurt-based decorative icings! Made with plant-derived ingredients and flavored with natural, organic, alcohol-free vanilla, our specialty icing brings a lovely touch of vanilla goodness without relying on conventional sugar-filled frosting.

And here's something we especially love: Our icing is made specifically for dogs, not simply human frosting repurposed for pups! We believe the finishing touches deserve just as much consideration as the ingredients inside.
