Just like the rest of our ingredients, this SunButter is premium-quality, but it is significantly more expensive per 16 oz and requires its own dedicated nut-free prep process. The upgrade fee helps cover the acquiring/expense cost of this specialty ingredient along with the extra time it takes to create a completely separate allergen-aware batch.

However, our in-house testing shows that the cookies can remain stable and enjoyable for at least 2 months when stored properly — they may naturally firm up over time but still maintain a pleasant texture.
